MICA as an organisation has shown a passion for dealing with relevant and relatable
issues for Muslims in the world of today and this is a major source of attraction for me. In
addition, I have met amazing people, doing amazing things at MICA events. I have
attended numerous events since the Muslim Teens network program and, volunteered for a few such as the annual MICA convention. Another event I’d not forget
in a hurry was the three-day training on Maqaasid Al Shariah by Dr. Jasser Auda. All I
can say is it was a turning point in my life. I’m proud to be affiliated with such a
progressive, dynamic and useful, also unashamedly Muslim organisation and I pray that
Allah continues to take her from strength to strength, and enrich the lives organisers of
all their events, and grant them success in this world and the next. Ameen.
