I came in contact with MICA when there was a great resurgence in Islamic
awareness, while others preached the strong adherence to doctrines MICA offered an
understanding of the why’s (the objective) of the doctrines. It also offered a range of
opinions on various matters, leaving me with a choice to choose that which I was most
