After extensive research and thoughtful consideration, prioritising the safety of our members’ personal information, we have chosen WhatsApp as the ideal platform for our community. Its simplicity allows us to build the community gradually, ensuring that members become comfortable and familiar with our activities before transitioning to a broader platform.
WhatsApp’s familiarity is another significant advantage, as many people are already accustomed to its interface, eliminating the need for additional technical knowledge. Moreover, WhatsApp’s robust security features protect member data, ensuring that personal information remains private and secure. This allows our members to engage openly and freely, confident that their privacy is maintained.
Our choice of WhatsApp also aligns with our commitment to accessibility. By using a platform that is widely used and easy to navigate, we make it simple for all members to stay connected and participate actively in the community. How Do I Join the Community?
As an exclusive community, we ensure that our channel is not open to the general public. Only vetted and invited individuals are allowed to join. To become an authentic member of the MICA community, follow these steps:
- Complete a short registration form, providing some basic information about yourself
- Once your information is received, it will be reviewed by our team to ensure alignment with our community values and goals.
- If you meet our membership criteria, you will receive an email with your invitation link. Click on the link to join the community.
- In your invitation email, you will find your membership ID. Copy this ID to your clipboard as you will need it to complete the process.
- On WhatsApp, modify your display name to reflect the name used during registration.
- Paste your membership ID next to your display name. This is used for authentication. Members without an ID in their display name may be removed for security reasons.
- Ensure you turn on post notifications for the channel to never miss important information.
- Actively participate in community activities to earn tokens, which can lead to various rewards over time.
What Are My Expectations for the Community?
